Our Beliefs

Image goes here.
We believe that God created us out of love and is active in our lives today. We believe that all people are welcome in the family of God.

We believe in Jesus Christ, the son of God, who reconciles us to God and to one another. We seek to follow his example of self-giving love.

We believe in the Holy Spirit as God's presence in our lives, making us aware of God's love and acceptance and empowering us to do God's work in the world.

We believe that the scriptures of the Old and New Testaments contain everything necessary for our salvation. We interpret the scripture through the lenses of our reason, experience and tradition.

We believe that the church is the Body of Christ, called to actively build the kingdom of God on earth.

We believe that grace is God's doing, not ours.

We believe in the power of forgiveness over sin and judgement.

We believe in the power of prayer over fear.

We may not all believe the exact same thing, but at the UMAB Church, we believe in God and each other.

If you are looking for something to believe in, we invite you to join us.
No matter where you are on your journey with God, you are welcome here!
